Hexagonal coconut shell charcoal briquettes packed in woven baskets at a production yard

Coconut shell charcoal briquettes are the preferred fuel for shisha and premium barbecue because they burn hot and long, produce almost no smoke and carry no taste or odour into the product. Indonesia’s coconut industry generates an abundant supply of shell, which makes it both a high-quality and a genuinely renewable feedstock.

What goes into a briquette

Ours are made from coconut shell charcoal only, bound with food-grade tapioca starch. There is no sawdust, no coal dust and no chemical accelerant. That is what keeps the ash content at or below 3.5% and keeps the burn odourless — the two properties shisha buyers test first.

Quality control

  • Shell carbonised in controlled kilns to stabilise fixed carbon
  • Crushed, sieved and mixed to a consistent particle size before pressing
  • Oven-dried to 5% maximum moisture over 12 – 20 hours
  • Every batch tested for ash, moisture, fixed carbon and burn duration
  • Drop and dust testing to confirm the briquettes arrive intact

Private label and OEM

We produce to buyer specification — shape, dimension, weight per box and full private-label artwork on inner and master cartons. Send us your design and target specification and we will return a costed sample before production. Sample boxes ship by air courier so you can burn-test before confirming a container.
